Alberta, Canada

At the border to Canada they only asked if we have firewood or alcohol with us. This seemed to us really funny but later we found out it is because they don't want us to bring any wood pests and that alcohol is quite expensive.

Alberta - flat land and the rockies. We drove through Calgary up to Canmore and from there through Banff all the way up to Jasper. Both National Parks (Banff & Jasper) are stunning! Steep snow covered mountains, turquoise blue lakes, wildlife right next to the road and even round rainbows! Another exciting event was to catch up with Maett's aunt Ruth and uncle Fred.
