January & February in Mammoth Lakes, CA

A couple of pictures that only tell part of the wonderful months we had in Mammoth. Next to learning lots about leadership and our personal relationship to God, we also were privileged to attend two ministry trips with Michael Dalton and Patti Bell (Reno and Lake Tahoe).

Even though we had not a lot of snow, there was enough to have a lot of fun with lots of friends. And at sunrise the hot springs are the most beautiful - everyone knows that. For three weeks our friend Steph came to visit - and we had even more fun. For Valentine's Day we went on a romantic Pennyboard cruise in our backyard. And yes, it is true, the whole time it was winter but felt like spring. :P

Au wän mir nid vil Schnee gha händ, äs hät meh als gnueg gha zum seeehr vil Spass zha mit vilnä verschidenä Fründä. Und bi Sunneufgang sind d'Hot Springs (heissä Quellenä) am schönste - das weiss jedä. Für drüü Wuchä isch na eusä Fründ Steph uf Bsuech gsi - und mir händ na meh Spass gha. Am Valentinstag sind dä Maett & ich uf ä romantischi Pennyboard Usfahrt i eusem "Gartä"/Umgebig. Und ja, äs isch wahr, di ganz Zyt wo Winter wäri gsi, häts sich aagfühlt als wärs Früehlig. :P
